Which sticker do I need?
Germany: the green sticker (emission group 4) is required in almost all low emission zones. It is valid nationwide.
France: the Crit'Air sticker has six categories (0–5). Which one your vehicle gets depends on the fuel, the Euro standard and the first registration.
Each sticker is only valid in its own country. If you drive through Germany and France, you need both.

Who issues the sticker?
The German environmental sticker is issued by an authorised issuing body, the Crit'Air sticker by the competent French authority. We are a private ordering service: we check your details, complete the application and submit it on your behalf.
Can I order the sticker myself?
Yes. You can also apply for the German sticker directly with an issuing body and for the Crit'Air sticker directly on the French authority's website. Our price also includes our service fee.
Do I need the sticker with a foreign registration?
Yes. The rules of the low emission zones also apply to vehicles registered abroad.
Is the German sticker also valid in France?
No. Each country has its own system: in France you need the Crit'Air sticker, in Germany the Umweltplakette.
